Kitchen

Taking advantage of a lovely sunny morning for a spot of snapping, here are a couple more corners at Trashsparkle Towers... The kitchen is black and white, with hits of red and turquoise and bright blue, so that's where the red reindeer ended up! The mugs feed my love for mismatched black and white patterns, 2 of my 1960s melamine chopping boards (I have more stored away!), and the fridge "mood board thing" is full of random bits that catch my eye. I could never be a minimalist.... ;)

I like your chopping boards, I could happily mooch about your kitchen being nosey xx

The chopping board collection started when I got into Taunton Vale - my Dad used to have one, but threw it away! I have far too much stuff in my kitchen, but I'd be miserable without it all there. Don't know how much someone could mooch about in it though - its not big enough to swing a cat in! Hence the cunning plan to reconstruct it next month to a more practical layout...

On the minimalist subject..you and me both! I am trying to pare things down a bit but I can't even get the 'bit' done. Where else am I gonna put this stuff unless at the thrift shops and I can't part with anything that catches my eye!. My house is tiny and my kitchen probably not big enough to swing a bird in. augghhh I like your blog and way of writing!
