Red Sky At Night...

... don't get all excited; we're not getting a heatwave tomorrow - this was last night's sky. The 12 year old is getting into keeping a photographic diary (including evidence of the mutilation of his hand in an art lesson...)

Hello:
Oh, the elusive English summer which is, we understand, living up to its usual reputation!

Here the hot weather has started rather earlier than usual, off set by thunderstorms, torrential rain and hail most days in the late afternoon.

Very cool picture. When i was preggers someone gave me a leaflet for a company who take a picture of the sunrise every morning and you can get a print of the sunrise that day your baby is born, quite a sweet idea. Photographic diaries are such a nice thing. Scarlett x

Jane and Lance - yes, the red sky at night saying has well and truly gone out the window; taking a brolly everywhere. Sounds like you've had very dramatic weather.

Scarlett - that's a genius business idea; there are lots of niches for photographers nowadays.

Vix - it was more of a large graze inflicted with a poorly-aimed woodwork saw. The magnified pic was awesome though ;)

Kylie - his hand is healing well; 12 year olds and school woodwork eh;. how about bloggers from round the world post a sunset picture all on the same day sometime?
