Hello:
You have certainly captured one aspect of Brighton!

We do hope that you had a really enjoyable time although we suspect that the weather was possibly not absolutely brilliant. Did you, by any chance, get to see the Duncan Grant exhibition currently on in the Art Gallery? Very highly recommended.

I love that sailor sign, it's hilarious.
What great pictures and it looks like you had plenty of sunshine.
Did you pack the right things after all that pre-holiday stree? x

Hi Jem - I really wanted to bring the mannequin home...

Jane and Lance - alas we couldn't fit in the exhibition - too much time taking pictures, going on the beach and pier, exploring, eating... hopefully might get back down there later in the summer, as I think its on til October. Weather wasn't bad - the few brave people (children mostly) swimming in the sea made us feel cold though!

Vix - aaarrggghhh that suitcase nightmare. I should have just taken 2 pairs of jeans and a pair of pumps, tops and cardis - I didn't wear the other stuff! Must remember to travel light - I never learn!

Scarlett - I've got Brighton withdrawal symptoms today. Wish I could have reported any conversations from the North Laines cafes - some of the people looked ever so earnest!
