A Elsie Tanner storyline in Coronation Street? Sounds like I'm not the only one with a 1970's time machine! Great display there, I want to visit your house. xxx
Hello: As, and we believe we may have indicated this before, we do not have television [not for thirty or more years] and therefore have no idea what is happening in Coronation Street, this is, perhaps, a little beyond us!! But it is, whatever, a very nice tribute and is definitely something different on your mantelpiece.

Enjoy your weekend!
You have a lovely home, Ms. Trashsparkle.
By the way "Mantelpiece Today" sounds like a fabulous quarterly consumer magazine. "For those who DO look at the mantelpiece when poking the fire".

Thanks - those are the ok bits. The rest is a tip, but I'm working on it!

Sorry you have to try to decipher my tv references. A good excuse for a bit of retro Pat Phoenix glam anyway

Thanks - and such a quaint phrase...
I think "Mantelpiece Today" should be a regular(ish) feature with different bits and bobs each month or something like that. Or maybe not....
Anyway, have enjoyed rummaging through your blog. I'll be back for more.xx
Hello Loo
Thanks for having a rummage! I'll see what I can come up with on the mantelpiece feature... probably more dust and candles? ;)
